Richard C. McGinity
Founder of School Street Capital Group in 1986 and president since then, Mr. McGinity has 40 years of transaction experience as a venture capitalist, director of publicly traded and privately owned companies, and trusted advisor to private and family-owned companies in a variety of industries. During that time, he has dealt with growth planning, equity financings, merger/acquisition, valuation, management incentives, corporate governance and audit, and regulatory compliance.
Education and Experience
He is the former chairman of Canada Southern Petroleum Ltd, where he led that company's successful defense of a hostile takeover and is a board member of the Wyoming Business Council. A graduate of Princeton University and a former naval aviator, he holds MBA and DBA degrees from Harvard Business School and is a wilderness guide licensed by the Wyoming Board of Outfitters.
